Her first big break came after an appearance in a couple of the television show "Much Ado About Nothing" when she was cast in the romantic comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" in 1993. Since then, she has been in a number of notable films, such as "Emma" in 1996, "Pearl Harbor" in 2001, and "Underworld" in 2003, which also spawned five additional films within the series. Beckinsale also starred in "Total Recall " in 2012, alongside Jessica Biel and Colin Farrel. She also has won prestigious awards for her efforts, such as the title of 'Best Actress' at the Sitges Catalan International Film Festival as well as the Evening Standard British Film Awards as well as the National Film Awards U.K.
