Alisyn Camerota
Alisyn Camerota, journalist, author, anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day" and Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse. Over the course of her 30 years in journalistic work, Camerota has covered stories across the globe, earning her an Emmy Award for her breaking news coverage on the arrest of Roger Stone, and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for her news breaking coverage of the effects of Hurricane Maria upon Puerto Rico. Johnna G. Torsone, of Stamford was named Honorary Trustees for her work on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport appointed board chair after an appointment on the Board since 2013. Czekaj-Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker of Westport, who has been the chair of the board since October 15, 2015, and continues serving on the board since 2006. There there are 26 trustees on the board of The Playhouse.
