Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13, 1986 in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the firstborn child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Ellen Dennings, her mom and speech therapist as Gerald was the father and was a professor at the college. Dennings was the oldest of five siblings raised by an orthodox Jewish mother and father is an accomplished actress. Dennings went to a school that was not traditional and she only briefly went to a homeschool. This arrangement with homeschooling was the most suitable option for her since she was a child with the desire to be an actor from an early stage. Dennings was able complete high school when she reached 14. When she was just 9, she had started doing commercials. When she graduated from high school, she relocated with her family in Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Kat Dennings was her name as she began auditioning.
