Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd continued to build on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She dominated all her competitors in the initial round. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round via TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Both the fighters put on a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote and both fighters getting one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. After a break of a few seconds, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
